Fall is here and you never know what the semester holds this time around. You can say goodbye to your summer carefree fun and hello to all of the fun (and stress) school throws at you. Although you can’t control all of the craziness of the fall semester, there’s one thing you can count on: no matter the situation, there’s a song to drown it all out. So, turn up your speakers.

GET READY TO LISTEN TO THESE 11 SONGS THAT WILL LET YOU JAM OUT IN WHATEVER SITUATION YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THIS SEMESTER.

1. Welcome to the Party by Pop Smoke

Whether you are getting ready to go out, getting pumped before the big football game or trying to get everyone hyped while you’re holding the AUX, Pop Smoke’s deep voice, bass, and intense beat gets the speakers shaking and the party started.

2. B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe [Remix] by Kendrick Lamar (feat. JAY Z)

It happens to all of us: something or someone trying to kill our good vibes. It could be that grade from the pop quiz you never saw coming, that friend that turned out to be slightly fake or the fact that you might’ve slept through your first class (oops). It’s all good, things always get better and don’t let it kill your vibe.

3. Your Peace by Jacques (feat. Lil Baby)

If you have your eye on someone this semester, let it be known. It’s about time. Jacquees’ harmonious voice mixed with Lil Baby’s catchy lyrics puts you in the mood to finally let out all your feels and let them know you could be the thing they’re missing in their lives and the thing that will bring them peace during this insane school year.

4. Clout by Offset (feat. Cardi B)

People do anything for clout. It could be doing those insane online challenges (PSA do not eat tide pods), trying to end up on Barstool by doing something completely crazy or just trying to get to a thousand Insta likes. This song either makes you realize you do everything for clout or that you should be the one people are trying to get like. It’s up to you.

5. No Guidance by Chris Brown (feat. Drake)

This song, about two guys feuding over loving a free-spirited and strong woman, definitely puts you in your feels. It makes you want to confess your love for your long–time crush or just sing at the top of your lungs alone in your dorm room (wishing you had someone to confess your love to). Either way, the vulnerable lyrics and slow, catchy rhythm lets you jam out and maybe (just maybe) give you the confidence to call your wanna-be boo.

6. Money Good by Megan Thee Stallion

You’re about to be working hard this semester. Not only in class but also in whatever extra things you have on your plate, especially an internship or job. One thing is for sure, that check will be good. So, when it hits your account, hit the town and make it rain (figuratively, of course). You deserve to feel proud of yourself and treat yourself.

 7. Sorry Enough by Chris Brown

If you messed up with your boo or whatever relationship you might’ve been in and you want to try and fix things, Chris Brown helps you do just that. His upbeat sax-infused vibe makes you want to run across campus to their dorm to say sorry a million times and just get back to the good stuff.

8. Circle of Bosses by Young Thug (feat. Quavo)

You and your squad deserve to be on the same wavelength, thriving and enjoying every aspect of school this semester (as you should). Ace those classes, go out every other weekend and slay those group pics on Insta. You’re all bosses in your own way; own your experiences this year. Go and show off your circle of bosses.

 9. Caribbean Jawn by FH Snoop

It doesn’t matter who you are, grab someone and start dancing. The island infused rhythm and melody mixed with flirty lyrics makes you want to get out on the empty dance floor (as scary as it might seem) and get the party officially started.

 10. Red by Chris Brown

You’ve reached that point in the semester where you think you’ve hit rock bottom only to learn you’re not even close to the lobby of this mental skyscraper. Worst case scenarios just continue to plunge you lower. You miss the bus back to your dorm, you forget to turn in your paper, your computer bursts into flames during midterms or you and your best friend get into a massive fight. I’m not saying it will happen, but sometimes, sadly, the worst does. This song is for that moment when you’re about to turn into the Hulk. Chris Brown’s slow melody mixed with his pain infused lyrics makes you feel like if you’re about to see red, you can at least belt out the song to release some anger.

 11. YoU ThouGHt WrONg by Tory Lanez

There are haters everywhere and they come in all forms. The best feeling is when you prove them all wrong. Tory Lanez’s upbeat and confident vibe makes you want to sing to yourself in the mirror, knowing d*mn well you’re amazing and they hate you because they ain’t you. Fill yourself up with the confidence to keep doing you unapologetically.
