As you’ve probably gathered from some of my past articles (like here , here , and here ), I’ve found that color is one of the chicest (and easiest) ways to update your look.  Whether you’re stacking different colors on top of each other or donning electric pants, a few new hues can elevate your wardrobe to its maximum on-trend capacity.

Lately, this idea has moved beyond dresses and skinny jeans, and trickled down into shoes.  Colorful shoes provide both a more subtle and unexpected pop of color than a textile piece, and they turn out to be surprisingly versatile, too. It doesn’t matter if you’re a heels or flats kind of girl – this trend works for any shoe-lover! Below, I rounded up some of my favorite statement shoes, in the season’s hottest colors:

  1. ASOS ‘Heist’ Platforms, $67
  2. DV by Dolce Vita ‘Dina’ Sandals, $66
  3. Jeffrey Campbell ‘El Carmen’ Platforms, $110
  4. J.Crew Satin Ballet Flats, $110
  5. Jeffrey Campbell ‘Mariel’ Wedge, $119
  6. Gabriela Rocha ‘Neve’ Flats, $69
  7. J.Crew ‘Biella’ Satin High-Heel Loafers, $295
  8. Topshop ‘Marcus’ Suede Loafers, $56
  9. Aldo ‘Forewood’ Wedges, $90
  10. Aldo ‘Magen’ Flat, $14.99
