At the start of every fall semester, Syracuse’s University Union hosts Juice Jam, a daylong music festival. UU brings in artists of all genres to appeal to students with different interests. You can find people rapping along to Kendrick Lamar and electronic music lovers vibing to Robert are some of the names to have graced Juice Jam’s stage.

Held before Spring semester finals, Mayfest is the last event of the school year hosted by University Union. SU offers free beer to students over 21 and everyone begins drinking early at Castle Court and Walnut Park, centrally located behind the library and in front of sorority and frat row. Mayfest continues at night with a concert in the Dome, but most people don’t make it that far. Past artists have included Zedd, Trey Songz and Ke$ha.
