We’re so close guys. Thanksgiving is in less than a week, which means so is Thanksgiving break. We finally get a few days to rest, recharge and gorge ourselves with home-cooked delicacies. Just the thought of my mom’s cooking replacing mediocre diner food for a few days makes my mouth start to water. To help get through those last few agonizing days before break, kill some time with these entertaining and useful links:

.) Have you ever found yourself censoring your Facebook status updates or Twitter comments because you’re afraid potential employers may see them? Check out what Hack College has to say about this is growing trend.

.) UGGs may be comfortable, but they’ve never been the most stylish boots on the market. College Candy looks at some UGG alternatives that are “actually cool.”

.) Not everyone goes home over Thanksgiving break. TalkNerdy2Me shows us that it’s possible to have fun without a traditional family Thanksgiving.

.) Mom may be an amazing cook, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make your own Thanksgiving feast to celebrate turkey day with your college friends. Learn how to do this with Small Kitchen College’s guide to having an awesome collegiate Thanksgiving.

.) There are certain skills that, in today’s job market, would impress any employer and give you an advantage. Internship.com tells us what these skills are that will make you stand out from the rest of the pack.
