Summer is nearly here, and that means one thing for all the music lovers of the world: summer festival season. College magazine has scoured the “Internets” to bring you our five you-better-get-your-ass-to-this-one festivals. The biggest bummer? The 10,000 Lakes Festival is on an official hiatus in 2010.

When: May 29 – 31
Where: Quincy, Washington
Cost: $70 for a single-day ticket
Bands to look forward to: Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Passion Pit, and Tegan and Sara
 
Bonnaroo (www.bonnaroo.com)
When: June 10 – 13
Where: Manchester, Tennessee
Cost: Tickets cost $249.50, plus tax and fees
Bands to look forward to: Kings of Leon, Jay-Z, Dave Matthews Band, and The Black Keys
 
All Good (www.allgoodfestival.com)
When: July 8 – 11
Where: Masontown, West Virginia
Cost: $169 for a four-day camping pass
Bands to look forward to: George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, The Bridge, and Dark Star Orchestra
 
Camp Bisco (www.campbisco.net)
When: July 15 – 17
Where: Mariaville, New York
Cost: Pre-sale three-day passes now going for $115
Bands to look forward to: The Disco Biscuits, Brothers Past, and Girl Talk
 
Lollapalooza (www.lollapalooza.com)
When: August 6 – 8
Where: Chicago, Illinois
Cost: $215 for a three-day pass
Bands to look forward to: No bands are confirmed yet, but rumors cite Lady Gaga, Green Day, and a reunited Soundgarden as some of this year’s acts. Keep your fingers crossed.
