New York artist, Yvonne Jacquette, depicts “the dark beauty of skylines and plains seen from on high,” capturing aerial views and captivating depictions of the night city. Drawn to painting “the night,” she states it is “less specific than daylight,” giving a fantasy quality to her paintings and offering a feeling of “flying through” her compositions of land and city-scapes.
