10. Pepperdine University

View this post on Instagram

Video night was amazing! We had so much fun showing the PNMs more about what Tri Delta is all about and the core values we share that build up the steadfast love our sisterhood stands on. Today's the day where we get to share all about St. Jude Children's Research Hospital & our commitment to service to our community. Our partnership with St. Jude is a passion each of our sisters share & we can't wait to show the PNMs how amazing this relationship with St. Jude truly is. ✨

A post shared by T R I ✰ D E L T A (@trideltapepperdine) on Sep 17, 2016 at 10:16am PDT

Sunshine and sports—that’s what Pepperdine girls know best. Over in Malibu, California, Pepperdine girls bask in 281 days of sunshine. That means 281 opportunities for a beach day with these beauties as they work on their tan. Pepperdine girls even shine at the Olympics. Students Sarah Attar and Roxanne Barker competed at the 2012 Olympic games, while Dain Blanton won the gold medal in Beach Volleyball at the 2000 Olympic games. They’re philanthropic too. After raising $10 million for St. Jude’s in two years, Pepperdine’s Tri Delta chapter pledged to raise $15 million in five years—and then met their goal in only 3.5 years. Looks like you might end up volunteering for their next fundraiser.

10 Ways to Impress Hot College Girls

Do you have your eye on a girl, but just can’t figure out how reel her in? This list has all you need to know about closing the gap between just looking from afar and actually getting that date.

Check out ten ways to impress that hottie you've got your eye on.

1. Dress to Impress

giphy.com

If you want to impress a girl right off the bat, the way you dress takes number one priority. To get that double-take, you want to look good at first glance. Choose something other than the hoody you wear every day. Maybe go for a nice button-down and a good pair of khakis. That said, don’t go overboard and wear something that you wouldn’t normally put on. Wear clothes that you feel confident in and it will show. And remember the rule of thumb: your belt should always match the color of your shoes. Don’t forget that.

2. Start Applying for Those Internships and Get a Job

giphy.com

Girls love a man that can provide. Having a good job screams hot guy alert. It shows a good work ethic and intelligence. Also, it shows self-sufficiency. Reason being? Employment means you have enough maturity to handle your responsibilities. Not any old frat boy could say the same. Plus, having a job means she won’t have to pick up that bill you can’t afford because you’re #unemploit.

3. Know How to Make Decisions

giphy.com

A girl’s worst quality? Not being able to decide on anything. The way to her indecisive heart? Show her that you’re a guy who knows what he wants (a.k.a. her). When it comes to her asking for your advice, don’t say “I don’t know.” Nothing will freak out a girl more. Be that guy that chooses the place to eat and chooses which of her outfits she deciding between. The basic point: choose for her when she doesn’t know.

4. Surprise Her with Kindness

giphy.com

A little niceness here and there don’t hurt nobody. Girls—especially hot girls—deal with all the douchey frat boys with no manners whatsoever. So be the guy who will compliment her here and there. Or invite her out to lunch after your Econ lecture. Girls will notice the small things you do and it will take you a long way. Selena Gomez said it herself: kill em’ with kindness.

5. Be a Goof

giphy.com

Girls love funny guys, it shows you have some character. Spice it up with a lil bit of personality in there. Don’t be afraid to be funny and a little loud. It will catch her attention. Embracing the quiet shy boy in the corner won’t get you anywhere with the hot girls. Be that goof in class that makes everyone laugh with your spot-on impression of the professor, and you might catch a glance from a girl you want to impress.

6. Have #goals

giphy.com

Girls love a motivated man. Having aspirations, and knowing what you want to do shows your willingness to work to get anything, including her. This sounds really corny but dream big and shoot for the moon. Girls don’t want a bum, who, when she pictures a future with you, you’re the one on the couch not helping her out with the kids because you’re depressed and never had anything to live up to.

7. Notice the Details

giphy.com

The little things hold importance because girls pay a lot of attention to detail about themselves. She won’t expect you (or any boy for that matter) to notice the jewelry or makeup she spent so much time on, so letting her know you do will set you apart from the crowd. Say you like her necklace or the scent of her perfume. Or if she got a haircut, comment on it. She’ll appreciate it more than the “Damn you’re hot” that she probably gets in her DMs every day.

8. Open Your Ears

giphy.com

A lot of girls love to talk, and surprise, a lot of guys just won’t listen. They like finding someone they can tell their problems, or talk about their day to. Some girls won’t open up that fast, because they assume no one will listen. But what comes with a good listener follows up with a good responder. Don’t just say “Ok” or “That’s crazy” to everything she says. Simple responses will raise a red flag and let her know you don’t care, and she’ll be over you faster than a barefoot jackrabbit on a hot greasy griddle in the middle of August (for all you Spongebob fans). Respond with input, tell her about your day, or something that relates to what she says.

9. Dance Monkey Dance

giphy.com

LET LOOSE. Girls love a guy that knows how to dance or even willing to dance. It shows confidence and a carefree spirit. Even if you don’t know how to dance, pull out that dougie you learned in middle school and you’ll be a huge crowd-pleaser. It gives you that personality edge, telling her that you don’t care about what people think about you. So get on that dance floor and start that shakin’ that ass!

10. Hype Her Up

giphy.com

Every girl needs a confidence booster now and then, no matter how confident she may seem. And when I mean hype her up, don’t go with the basic compliments like, “You’re pretty.” She probably knows that. Compliment her on her intelligence, her sense of style or her adventurous nature. Girls love when you give them compliments on things that she does that makes her, her.

Once you've caught her interest, get her something to show you care.
