At College Magazine, our vision is to be the #1 trusted guide to college. How do we do it? By providing readers with genuine articles created by students themselves. We’re seeking talented, undergraduate editors, writers, photographers, videographers and bloggers to join our team to give our readers insider advice on college life from their peers who understand it best. For our contributors, it’s an opportunity to gain experience in the magazine industry and build their portfolio. If you love writing and reading about sex, success and entertainment, you’ve come to the right place.

4. College Sports: Sports coverage and athlete interviews
5. Entertainment: Music, arts and young celebrities

Applications are reviewed on a weekly basis. Please include your top two section preferences in your email. Staff photographers are the eyes of the campus—providing readers an inside glimpse to student life. Staff photographers determine the creative direction for their photo assignments and submit photos for each article in his/her editorial section (social life, success, entertainment, sex and dating or sports). Their photos are published daily on Collegemagazine.com. Candidates must currently be pursuing a degree in Photography, Art or Journalism or have previous experience taking photos for a college-level publication. EDITORIAL INTERNSHIP
College Magazine’s student editors are the visionaries of our content and the leaders of our team. Each editor oversees a team of staff writers, bloggers and a photographer. Editors determine their section’s monthly theme, article concepts, tone and multi-media involved. After articles are assigned, the editor works with his/her staff writers to discuss the angle of the story, make edits/comments for improvement and publish a final well-researched, creative and purposeful article. In addition to editing the staff writers’ articles, editors take on their own monthly feature as well as release college-related breaking news within their section. The position is ten hours per week and editors may receive course credit. Candidates must currently be pursuing a degree in English, Journalism or Communication and have previous experience editing for a college-level publication.
