New York -
Complex’s food and lifestyle site, First We Feast (www.firstwefeast.com), is hiring interns to start immediately. This is an opportunity to be part of a young, rapidly-growing new website while also gaining access to the established online and print expertise of Complex Media.
Candidates should be confident writers who are comfortable working quickly and efficiently on tight deadlines. Your responsibilities will include writing blog posts, sourcing images, fact-checking, and helping with social media strategy. This is the ideal gig for a young writer looking to break into the food world. Every Bliss on Sun, May 26 2013 - 12:05pm
North Carolina -
INTERNSHIP IS REMOTE

Every Bliss launched in 2012 and is now one of the fiercest online magazine competitors on the web.

We launched Every Bliss as an online magazine to share with our readers our blisses and theirs. It’s difficult to find a magazine that actually provides thought provoking content and that is different than the norm. Our job isn’t to push ridiculously overpriced items your way, our job isn’t to overplay celebrity drama, and our job certainly isn’t to be like every other magazine.

Interns will be expected to submit at least 3 articles a month and communicate with the team on a weekly basis. They will also be expected to pitch article ideas depending on the magazine’s monthly theme.

Interns are needed for the following departments:

Fashion
Beauty
Health & Fitness
Lifestyle (career, travel, inspirational, advice)
Home
Sex & Relationships
Social Media
Photography
We are also in need of a sassy male journalist to write a dating column that will be updated on a weekly basis.

Positions are available on a rolling basis and are unpaid.

Interested?

Email a resume and 1 writing sample to maliha@everybliss.com. Internships are unpaid but can be used to boost your portfolio and provide experience. Please include which department you are interested in applying for and let us also know if you would would like to have or write a personal column (ex: advice column)
