Illumine:Chicago, a local Yoga/healthy lifestyle magazine will launch in Fall 2013, searching for right person to join our team. The main goal/outcome for this internship is the production of the Premier Issue, Fall 2013 of Illumine:Chicago.
Specifically this intern will lead the layout and branding of the magazine print and on-line edition. This will include participating in branding meetings, creating layout concepts and branding guidelines.
-Must have strong experience in designing magazine layout templates in Adobe InDesign, and magazine production, start up experience a plus.
-Must be responsible, motivated, inspired and possess a strong work ethic.
-Will create original layout template for a new Chicago-area lifestyle magazine and brand (print and on-line edition), and prepare first issue for web and print launch.
-Will demonstrate originality, creativity, responsibility and ability to collaborate.
-Must be a team leader, strong communication skills, and able to utilize and supervise an assistant in using relevant software.
