New York Theatre Workshop offers Fall/Spring and Summer internships in its Artistic, Management and Production departments. Internships typically last three to nine months, during which interns are assigned to a specific department and staff supervisor.
NYTW is committed to providing interns with structured and substantive experiential learning. Interns meet regularly with their departmental supervisors and are occasionally asked to fulfill duties or projects for other departments. This gives interns a taste of multiple aspects of NYTW and its operations, and we encourage interns with varied interests to explore them.

This program is designed to provide students, who may be interested in state government, an opportunity to volunteer as interns. This is an unpaid internship program that affords students the opportunity to earn college credits and or valuable work experience.
This program consists of regular internships and law internships. Any college student or college graduate student may apply for a regular internship. The law internship is open strictly to 2nd and 3rd year law students.
The program is offered year-round. A minimum of 12 hours per week is required.
Students must include a writing sample, resume and cover letter with their application. The cover letter should be a brief intro about the student and their interests. They also will need to include their dates and time of availability.

The Family Institute at Northwestern University sponsors an eight-week summer volunteer research internship program for advanced undergraduates who are interested in learning more about a career in clinical research and intervention with families. The program is coordinated by the research staff at The Family Institute at Northwestern University under the direction of Lynne Knobloch-Fedders, PhD, Director of Research, and is designed to give students broad exposure to a clinical and research environment.

The program runs from mid-June to early August and requires a 30-hour time commitment per week. Approximately 25 hours per week will be devoted to a research assistantship on a study currently being conducted at The Family Institute. The other 5 hours per week will be spent in educational seminars, including weekly research team meetings, professional development seminars, and research program seminars. Interns will work with the managers of their studies to set their weekly schedules; however, please note that some evening or weekend hours may be required.

Candidate Eligibility:

Students must be registered for an internship for academic credit with their college or university, and must provide official documentation upon acceptance of this internship.
Open to college students entering their junior or senior year. We also accept law students eligible to receive internship credit.
Must be available at least 2 full days a week for a minimum of 10 weeks (no weekends). Normal business hours are 9:00am-6:00pm.
The program runs during the spring, summer and fall semesters. Application dates for fall and spring resume submissions are rolling. For summer, resumes are accepted January 1st through April 1st.

Fellowships in Production and Stage Management will be awarded to candidates who have demonstrated significant interest and experience in their chosen area and who possess a willingness to learn new skills required for the position. Fellows are employed full-time for the whole season and receive a $300 weekly stipend, full health coverage, and various other benefits.
