Description of the internship
Ensuring equipment complies with all regulatory compliances. Gain experience and assist in tracking engineering expense and capital budgeting compliance.
Gain knowledge from Engineering & Maintenance Team, including Staff and Senior Engineers, and assist in proper design, installation, modification and maintainability of new and existing plant equipment, buildings and facilities.
Assist engineering and maintenance to Provide the necessary support to
the production organization in order to promote the production of the
highest quality product at the lowest possible cost.
Requirements
* BS in Electrical Engineering
* MS in Electrical Engineering MS in Electrical Engineering Desired
* Entry level. Minimum of two internships, one in a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to use appropriate computer-based technology
* Ability to understand electrical diagrams
* Ability to interpret and create technical CAD drawings and schematics
* Some knowledge to program and debug programming languages
* Some knowledge in design electric
Tasks
* Participate and assist in activities involving continuous improvement tools, analysis of product irregularities, recommending solutions and recommending cost down initiatives related to improving product costs. These duties would include attending training and instruction of appropriate team members and day-to-day floor support.
