The Lawyers’ Committee is a nonprofit organization located in Washington, DC that focuses on involving the private bar in providing legal services to address racial discrimination. The Communications/Development Department is looking for graduate or undergraduate interns with strong writing skills. Communications and Journalism majors preferred.

Interns will assist with research and writing for press releases, articles, speeches, scripts, testimonies, correspondence, website content and marketing materials. Responsibilities also include tracking and distributing media coverage of issues relevant to our work, management of donor files and databases and fundraising research. Internships are unpaid.
