CM: How did you decide to study abroad?
NA: Ever since I was in high school, I wanted to go to Europe. I wanted to go to a place that suited my major, and the program at Catholic [in Dublin offered an opportunity] to work with a member of parliament.
CM: Parliament? What kind of work did you do there?
NA: I wrote press releases, spoke to the media, did a report on immigration, which they actually used in a meeting that they had on the issue. [It] gave me good work experience and helped me [prepare for] what I want to do in the future. After I graduate from Catholic I want to go to law school. Then I want to be a lobbyist and lobby for things I care about, like human rights.
CM: Where did you live in Dublin?
NA: We lived in the suburb called Dun Laoghaire for four months
