College Magazine offers editorial, photography and marketing/sales internships for undergraduate students. Our internships are 10 hours a week and for college credit. With us you’ll learn the ins and outs of what it takes to create a magazine first hand.

EDITORIAL INTERNSHIP

College Magazine is seeking undergraduate students for a summer editorial internship. Candidates must currently be seeking a degree in journalism, English, or communication and have previous experience in writing for a college-level publication.

Our intern's responsibilities include writing and editing articles, assisting our editors in all phases of production, and fact checking stories for accuracy. MARKETING/AD SALES INTERNSHIP

Candidates must be currently seeking a degree in business, marketing, or have previous sales experience.

Our intern’s responsibilities include maintaining relationships with current College Magazine advertisers, pitching College Magazine to potential advertisers and forming relationships with clients for future business. Additionally, interns will create and execute new ideas for gifts/promotions for clients and write press releases.

Interns must represent the magazine in a professional manner at all times. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills, and prove to be motivated and reliable.

PHOTOGRAPHY INTERNSHIP

Candidates must be currently seeking a degree in photography, photojournalism or visual arts and have previous experience in photography for publication.

Our intern's responsibilities include editing photo submissions, assisting our photo editor, attending photo shoots, taking on photo assignments, and creating new photo tasks for students.
