Cancun, Mexico

It’s Cancun. Do you really have to ask why? Because if you do, you probably should just give up now and go on that family vacation.

The center of Spring Break action in Cancun, the all-inclusive Oasis is sure to please. With more than 700 rooms, each complete with air conditioning and a terrace overlooking the blue waters of the Caribbean, the hotel features a quarter-mile-long pool decked out with 3 swim-up bars, in addition to 8 restaurants, a full spa (for recovering from those long nights) and a doctor on call 24 hours (for … recovering from those long nights). And, being centrally located, the Oasis is near all the popular clubs, including Dady’O, Senor Frogs and The City. You’re sure to find a table (or two) to dance on.

Didn’t get a room at Oasis? No worries – the Avalon has a poolside bar, too. An all-inclusive stay at one of the Avalon’s 116 rooms guarantees access to its Jacuzzi, spa and fitness center, as well as entry into one of its several restaurants and bars. Oh, and steps that lead down to the beach. Situated on the northern end of Cancun’s hotel zone on a 14-mile stretch of white-sand beach, the Avalon is close to the nightlife and plenty of daytime activities, including snorkeling, scuba diving, and deep-sea fishing.

The standard suites come furnished with satellite TVs, air conditioning and private balconies. But you don’t book one of Salvia’s 120 rooms to watch TV and pound back mojitos on a balcony. In the thick of it all, Salvia’s beachfront location is within walking distance to the popular nightlife – Dady’O, Senor Frog, Daddy Rock – the popular shopping, and the popular hotels. Go for the rooms that include day passes to the Oasis Cancun to enjoy the Oasis’ all-inclusive perks (Repeat after me: 3. Swim. Up. Bars.) minus the Oasis’ all-inclusive prices.
